BOOKING INFORMATION

Booking information 

Szekely Birtok is only able to accommodate guests with pre-confirmed reservation that we send to our costumers by e-mail when the booking is finalized. Should you have any inquiries, please do not hesitate to call us. We are answering inquiries by phone from 8 am to 8 pm every day.


The process of reservation

Upon your inquiry, we send you a reply via email with the amount of the deposit (30%) we need you to pay to a given bank account. We expect you to send us the confirmation from your bank that it was paid. Then we finalize your booking and you are able to enter our premises. 


Payment Information

Prices include VAT but exclude local tourist tax (HUF 250 / person / night), which should be paid on site at the check-out.

Payment is made in two installments: 

30% deposit is paid advence at the booking (bank-, or post-office money transfer). The other 70% is paid on arrive at the check-in  by cash. We do not accept bank cards. 

Cancellation policy 

The deposit will be refunded only if cancellation is made minimum 10 days prior to the booked date 

We accept modifications to the original booking in writing minimum 10 days prior to the expected arrival. Updated date must be available and in the same season 

Within 10 days prior to the date of the booking or no-show deposit will not be refunded

House Rules 

Responsibility 

Any damage to our properties will be paid in cash and need to be reported to the owner. In case it is not reported legal charges will be covered by the guest

Accommodation 

Chech-in opens at 14:00 and we expect our guests to leave their rooms by 10 am on check-out day. 

We expect you to consider the recreational needs of others so that no loud/disturbing activities should be carried out from 22:00 pm to 8:00 am in the following morning. Visitors of our guests need to be reported and authorized by the owner

Smoking 

Smokers are expected to use the designated areas such as terraces and BBQ locations. Such areas are sign-posted. Smoking and flammables (e.g. incense sticks) are not allowed in the guesthouses 

BBQ Policy 

Private butler and fresh ingredients are provided on request. Fire can only be initiated at designated BBQ areas. (Flammable materials shouldn't be close to the fire, it is the responsibility of the guest) Please make sure the fire is put out properly before you leave the location. Wood and paper are the only materials to light fire, burning of other materials ( gasoline, plastics, rubber, etc) are strictly prohibited!

Safety 

Please keep your rooms/houses locked when they are not occupied or you go to bed

Fixtures and Fittings 

Please do not move decoration objects within our houses or outside. Indoor furniture (bed, bedding, mattresses, TV, etc) shall not be taken out into the garden.

Cleaning & Hygiene 

The houses are always deep cleaned prior to the arrival of our guests. Everyday cleaning is not part of the package we offer, however we can provide house keeping upon request. Additional charges will apply.

Recycling 

Rubbish shall be collected on black-bin liners (provided) and to disposed into big containers at the back of the garden

Malfunction of objects 

Shall any of our equipment break down of malfunctions, please do not hesitate to contact us to avoid serious outages and disasters.
